The eyes need to see everything in real-time. This is Tanium. It doesn't just scan periodically; it constantly asks questions and gets answers from every endpoint in seconds. It knows what software is installed, if a new vulnerability has appeared, or if a device has fallen out of compliance.
Brain
ServiceNow acts as the strategic brain. It ingests the rich, real-time data from Tanium and gives it context. It understands which server supports a critical business service or who a particular laptop belongs to. It's the decision-making center that orchestrates complex workflows.
Hands
This is Tanium again. ServiceNow sends it's strategic plan back to Tanium and Tanium acts on it. Patching, updating, deleting etc.
